Pictures

This might give you some idea how much we love history, and how much I enjoy displaying it. This is a hall wall in our house in Memphis. All these pictures are of the Watkins buildings. These next two pages have articles that we would love to have more information on. And would really love to have any related pictures. You can enlarge them to read them. Here they are today.
There are some great pictures of downtown Memphis, once you enlarge this. Some interior shots. And the King house on the bottom right.
You can still read "Watkins"on the water tower. Ben and the water tower. Neither of us has the courage to climb to the top. Another view. The top two pictures are of the Watkins buildings, taken from the top floor of the Rawleigh building. The bottom two are of the Rawleigh building taken from the roof of the Watkins building.
And this is what we think must be the draw-bridge. Ben took these pictures yesterday.
The buildings are connected to each other, on every floor.
This is the first floor of the newer building, looking through the connecting hall, to the older building.
